General Summary

The party named the owlbear cublet Georgey, and, rather than remove the owlbear mama corpse from their camp, they moved the camp out of sight of the corpse. Pretty smart tbh.

Da’leysen, the 17th of Thunsheer

DAY THREE OF TRAVEL Ren fashioned a baby bjorn out of his extra clothes, rope, and bedrolls. He and Nixx carried PJ throughout the day. On their travels, the party met Jon and Samantha, two giant eagles that apparently flew down from the mountains? Comet later realized that he had a spell that would've allowed perfect communication. Ren & Comet spent 3 hours near and 1 hour interacting with PJ. Comet studied his notebook. Camp was then made and everyone went to sleep.

Miresen, the 18th of Thunsheer

DAY FOUR OF TRAVEL In the morning, Nixx was nowhere to be found, but Satreus was in his place and even had his sword which was glowing. He revealed that he is a Changeling and that he sometimes gains these new personas via dreams. Then, everyone shared that they, too, had dreams throughout the night. Because that's exactly how people that have known each other for just a few days act right?

Petrus fought a vengeful Owlbear.
Nixx achieved lucidity and experienced a full dream of Satreus winning something.
Ren saw a strange (giant) banquet hall filled with giant silhouettes and his own silhouette.
Iris had a mysterious dream conversation with a blurry figure who eventually was convinced to reveal herself as Lilyana Cayd of the Claret Orders, though Iris didn't recognize her.
Comet must've been dreaming of the ship because he awoke with the smells and sounds of the sea.

The Gorge had grown steadily busier as more folks were allowed through the gates. Many people were just trying to get to town ASAP but some would talk in passing for a minute. Half of you are decent enough conversationalists. Ren noticed that people were skittish when they realized they had an owlbear with them! A half-orc seemed to not mind though. He had a peculiar way of tlking to PJ and the rest of the party in the same manner. He invited you to find him during the Merryfrond's Day celebrations. That seems to explain the influx of traffic. Ren & Comet spent 3 hours near and 1 hour interacting with PJ. Comet studied his notebook. Camp was then made and everyone went to sleep. The first two watches went off without a hitch, but Ren was alerted to an issue when he heard panicked muffles from Comet. Turning around, he had been wrapped in a web and there was a giant spider above him!!
