Whirl of Yurl

Whirl of Yurl is a science fiction story set in the bizarre world of Gannen. Humans, Junum, and countless other creatures call it their home. The land is vast and varied, in both geology and culture. Billions of intelligent lifeforms have lived and died here since time immemorial, and this rich history is evident everywhere, in the land itself and in the memory of its people.   This story follows Nevetien, a young naturalist inhabiting the remote metal-forest of Oxonyenden. By chance, she witnesses a peculiar falling star, and by her curiosity, she sets out to find it. In doing so she becomes afflicted with a terrible curse, and becomes involved in an insidious cosmic plot, with the hope that she can save the world that she loves from being changed forever.   She will travel through many strange and hostile lands, make extraordinary friends, suffer greivous wounds, witness monstrous cruelty, and, most significantly, challenge an inexorable future.
