Euvimanite
A race of people with bird-like features. The features they get aren't consistent throughout - some may have wings and talons while others may only get a beak. Despite these inhuman features, they aren't because of overloading. It's said that Euvimanites were created by the gods themselves to watch over the people. They are proficient in light and wind magic.
Culture
Major language groups and dialects
Euvimanites were among the last races to still use Ancient Aitaranian before they were killed by Fosru.
Shared customary codes and values
A strong belief among them is that the lives of others are always far more important than their own. This leads them to put their own lives on the line more often than not, even if it was unnecessary in the first place. This has also caused a good portion of them to try to strengthen themselves as much as they can in hopes that they can take on many more challenges than is best for them.
They also see the wishes of the gods as more important than most anything. For the most part, they'll follow the gods' wishes. If they go too far, however, they aren't afraid to challenge those wishes, as many Euvimanites have strong moral compasses.
Lastly, they all greatly enjoy the pursuit of knowledge and view strength of mind as just as important as physical strength.
Common Etiquette rules
It's important to do a curtsy motion every time you meet a Euvimanite that you don't know, and some of them will get offended if you don't continue to curtsy at them even after you've met. This is especially true for Euvimanites that are higher in rank than you.
Common Dress code
For Euvimanites that can fly, loose clothing is important.
For all Euvimanites, however, it's important to wear armor that won't hinder you in a fight under all your clothes. They believe that above all else, you should always go out with some form of protection because life is unpredictable.
Common Customs, traditions and rituals
Eshkohnoo is the biggest celebration in Euvimanite culture as it celebrates the day the first god was split into many more gods.
Coming of Age Rites
Because of the fact that being soldiers and protecting people is so important in their culture, the day someone takes up the sword is viewed as a coming of age, no matter when it is. For some, this happens late in life, but even then it's extremely celebrated.
Ideals
Beauty Ideals
Strength is seen as the most beautiful thing someone can have, whether it be in spirit or it's physical. As a result, the strongest warriors of this race often end up with the most people looking to date them.
Gender Ideals
Gender ideals in Euvianite societies don't differ to much from each other - men do pretty much the same things as women.
Major organizations
They are known as the race that was the closest to the gods, the gods sharing more information with them than any other race. As a result, many of them are considered to be prophets.
