Structure

Although merely a minority of its members, the most public face of the order are those of their knights and paladins. Although only the most skilled and devout would received the title of paladin. And it was said that during the times that the Order were still followers of the Gods, their faith was so powerful that it made them miracle workers.

History

An order funded by the high faith during the religious wars against the Emirate. Although small at first, many of the most devout would flock to its banner, donating everything in their possession.
During the religious conflicts, the Order would prove to be a formidable force, and they would even go as far as to directly rule over territories themselves.
Throughout the years, the order would acquire wealth and power, and even as the faithful were pushed back from the Golden Coast, they remained a powerful organization, to the point that it began to be called the kingdom without a realm.
With no cause to fight for, the Knights and Paladins of the order would wander the realms of men, of times living from hospitality as they fought bandits or performed religious rites in small villages.

Disbandment

As their influence and power began to reach its zenith, and their eyes began to be set beyond the strait. Richard II of the Westfold would discover the order to be nothing but worshipers of the old one, and practitioner of forgotten and foul arts. While the sorority chapter was nothing but a front for prostitution for the brothers of the order.
With this revealed, the High Archon proclaimed the order and all under their banner as enemies of the faith. Soon bounties were put on the heads of the brothers. Many were assassinated, tortured and stripped of their wealth. While others attempted to form an organized defense against the realm of the Westfold. This conflict would be known as *********.
