The Northernlands

History

The lands of Winter are regarded as the cradle of the children of men, as it lays claims to the oldest stone structures and cave carvings created by them. However, most of its history has been shrouded in its cold mist, as the people inhabiting it often rely on the spoken word to recount their stories. And this has made it so the oldest tales are greatly exaggerated, and even the most recent ones can be vastly different as they are told from clan to clan. However, if there is a myth that is agreed upon by all the Northernmen, it is that of the Fae, as the northern lands are regarded as the place where the children of men went into hiding during that era.
