Earthen Kingdom

History

Before the fall
Before the fall and the Great Flight, the Earthen Kingdom was a regional power in central Westoria, as it's only check in power was the High Elven Kingdom to the east. With the superior dwarven bronze giving it an edge technologically, many of the clans of men and dwarves, as well as the elven tribes around the Geldor mountains paid tribute to it.
Age of Petty Kings
The Earthen Kingdom had suffered a series of crises when the new clans of men escaped the fall of the old empire. Internal conflict had left it weak, and this coupled with the superior steel wielded by the children of men, made it so the Earthen Kingdom was unable to stop their advance, and so it retreated underneath the earth. Their influence who had been ever present in central Westoria was now nothing but nominal.
Age of Fire
At the beginning of the Age of Fire, the Dwarven Kingdom had begun to recover from the strife suffered during the prior age. The newly created Dwarven Steel proved to be far durable than its Elven and Man counterparts. But as the Kingdom began to look outwards and above the surface once more, it entered in direct conflict with the Kingdom of the Westfold and the newly founded Southern Emirate for the ownership of the gold mines in the south of the Gelor Mountains.
The Dwarven Kingdom was quite succesful in defending the mines,
