Dwarven Patriarchy

The highest ruling body in the dwarven nation. It is run by a single ruling family with several branches. The king is determined by bloodline as well as other positions such as the head of state, treasure, and the governors of provinces. however, the king has absolute power putting his words above any law. for this reason, the families attempt to form close ties with the king, often supplying wives so they have an eventual chance at becoming the new royal family.
The treaty the dwarven patriarchy is most known for is the unclaimed quarry treaty.
