Weolcan

This world was not always so scattered, if the ancient texts are to believed. Once it may have been a unified planet, one continent, one sky. But whether that is true or not, in present times Weolcan is a world of floating islands and oceans of clouds, divided into five known layers and a fabled sixth, with increasingly dangerous storms separating each.
Numerous colorful denizens populate the upper four layers, arrayed in interwoven tapestries of culture and history. And as technology and understanding of the enigmatic Aether march on, these people only become more and more interconnected.
But what fame lays beneath the next storm? What tales lie beyond the next sky? That is for intrepid explorers to find out.
