Wendimere

This world is filled with mythical creatures and many different human-like species. There are seven continents located in the world of Wendimere that all have unique features and creatures. Because of the different envoirments many species have traits or characteristics that help or give them an advantage in there continents:

Wrath: This continent is a firery hellish landscape with three volcano's in the middle of it. These volcanos called Kronos,Palis, Ands Hexilos, are covered in cave openings that wind throught them, leading down into the ground. Above the ground, it smells like a mixture of sulfur and burning flesh. Wrath is covered in burning plants and flaming trees. Many of the creatures that inhabit this continent have adapted to the boiling temperature and the intensity of the volcano's. The plants have also adapted to these conditions. Most of them have grown a thick shell that protect the inside from the outside world. Plants like thorns have grown around certain tree's protecting them from creatures who might try to harm the tree's. The species of Rocktris live on the continent.

Greed: This continent is a warm and brightly colored forest with tree's that reach 1500-2000 feet tall. Many of the creatures that live there have wings or another way to travel above the ground. down there, it is full of lush ferns and and smaller tree's but it also has maneating superplants. The fungus that lived down there hundreds of years ago caused plants like venus flytraps and sundews to grow larger at a faster rate. In today's world, the plants have grown to consume much larger animals then fly's. The fungus have also caused the tree's to grow to those giant sizes but have since died off. But the affected plants DNA was changed to stay large so through the generations, the plants have not shrunk down to a normal size. There are a few species like elves and druidic fungus that have built their cities in the tall trees canopies. Some tribes of the druidic fungus have found a way to tame a species of forest wyverns that act like mounts.

Envy:This continent is a desert wasteland filled with dangerous creatures and even more dangerous conditions. The dunes seem to move across the way like waves as the day progresses. Many of the creatures that live there are located under the dunes. Sand sharks frequently roam through the dunes and the giant vultures make there homes in dragonsblood tree's. Few species of human-like creatures inhabit this continent.The Dunemas and the Sandian tribes of the Adaxians live in these harsh conditions. During the day, it is hot and sandstorms are frequent, but during the night, it is cold and unforgiving. It rarely rains and when it does, it is cooling and quickly soaked up by the sand. Many species have learned how to live with little to no water. Some species have special skin that absorb the water.

Lust:This continent is a lush wetland with many aquatic creatures and semi-aquatic creatures alike. jelly tree's grow plump blueish colored fruits that are high in nutrients. There is also a large variety of fish and amphibians that act like a food source. A lot of the creatures that live in this place build there homes out of broken branches and fallen tree's. This protects them from the hurricanes and larger animals that might try to eat them. Much of this continent is covered in thick mangrove tree's and the rest in a marshy bogland. The crabpeople inhabit this area and keep giant crabs as pets.

Pride:This place is a tropical coral reef with brightly colored animals and giant peices of coral everywhere. It is off the coast of Lust and is home to aquatic creatures such as gaint squid and kracken. Many of the coral is home to the creatures that inhabit it. Mermaid-like species roam the waters. This includes mermaid, Merrow, and sirens. These species each chose a shark to represent them and defend them.

Sloth:This is a Tundra continent that is extremely cold, unforgiving, and harsh. Most of the creatures that live in this place have a thick coat. There is jagged ice spike protrude through the icy ground, apearing like the spine to this continent. This is toward the north of the map and one of the most dangerous continents to live in. Creatures like yeti's and owlbears live at the top of the Frostbite Mountain. Not many creatures can withstand the freezing climate,but the Frostthorn people have adapted to the climate through the years. The water is not much safer then the land. Giant narwhals and seals roam through the water, protecting the land from the other places. Whale bones are used frequently for building and songmaking. There spines help with creating things like flutes and harps.

Gluttony:This is the most populated continent in all of Wendimere. Humans populate this land and have many big cities through out the fields. Many creatures like Ripiferis{Rye-pif-er-is} live in the grassy land and have been domsticated by the humans. There are three main cities around Gluttony called Destruction, Berayal, and Grief. Destruction is the biggest of the three with the highest population and the most attacked.
