Buffout

Another extremely successful compound developed by Med-Tek. Buffout is an as-needed pill that sends steroids, hormones, and endorphins throughout the user's body.

It was developed to make soldiers stronger, but it quickly came to be in high demand by athletes and blue collar workers. Med-Tek saw the civilian demand and decided to capitalize on it, marketing this new drug as 'Buffout', the get ripped quick solution.

Effects

You experience a surge of strength and aggression along with a tense heat in all of your muscles.

For the next minute you gain Advantage on all Strength skill checks. If you would take Bludgeoning, Piercing, Slashing, Poison, Fire, or Force damage, you instead take that much minus an amount equal to your constitution modifier.

Addiction

Whenever you use any amount of this drug, roll a Constitution Saving Throw. The DC for this is 10 + the number of times you have taken an addictive substance since your last Long Rest. If a character fails this save, they become addicted to Buffout until cured.

While your character is addicted, they take a point of Exhaustion for each substance they are addicted to after they complete a Long Rest.

In the case of Buffout, addicts are constantly aggressive and tense, but run out of stamina quickly, making them prone to impudent fits of rage that leave them tired and vulnerable.
