Wayfarers Universe

The Wayfarers Universe is a science fiction setting that follows the trials and travels of the Szassar, a race of space-faring reptilian hexapods who are rebuilding their civilisation after succumbing to an intellect-sapping extra-terrestrial phage. The phage race is as patient as it is pernicious, and the races it has enslaved rather than destroying outright pose interesting challenges and opportunities to the Szassar. Other races are out there in space that are not part of the phage hegemony. This is a setting for two campaign types:

• Wayfarers: Exodus - a space opera campaign for players who find themselves embedded in the intrigues of galactic politics and warfare.
• Wayfarers: Resolute - a gritty terrestrial resistance campaign for players who emerge from generational global defense bunkers and try to reclaim a world that has been subjected to occupation and exploitation.
