The Tripoles

Situated in what would be known as "Africa" in our world, the Tripoles are a landmass affected by nuclear-winter brought on by the battle between the Prophet and Zandor, the Red-Wizard.

Geography

After widespread firestorms following a nuclear war, massive clouds of soot injected into the stratosphere blocked direct sunlight from reaching the surface of the land, causing it to freeze over. Now the mountains have turned into glaciers, the lakes into ice-ponds and the lands into tundras and slushes.

Fauna & Flora

Frost-Giants and Ice-Dragons are common here. Satanimals such as Tripolar-Bears also thrive here.

Natural Resources

Magical metals and traces of infused cystals are common. Gelatinous-Spheres are found here in plenty.
