Creepy-Teepees
Creepy-Teepees, better known as "Walking-Houses" or Creepers, are a species of Walking-Tree that have evolved to fit in with their new environment. They are considered the most unique creatures of Ka'a'. Their Magic Level is Grey, Flank Silver.
Basic Information
Anatomy
Creepy-Teepees, as their name suggests, are Beasts that have evolved to look more like the tepees which the Comanches and a few other races use for houses. In appearance these strange beasts are conical creatures with skeletons consisting of thirteen "ribs" from 15 to 18 feet in length, which are raised upright when they are angry. The skin of these creatures resembles dried leather, although it is more similar to tree-bark. The lower edges of their bodies are secured to the ground with fifty small "feet" that resemble tree-roots and form a diameter of about 10 feet. They use these feet to move around. At the top of their "heads" are flaps of skin adjusted as collars, so as to be open on the windward-side to facilitate the exit of gas like breathing-holes or nostrils. A low opening is left for a "doorway", which is covered with an extra flap of skin used as a drop. These "doorways" appear to be their mouths.

Dietary Needs and Habits
It is not really known what Creepers eat, although they have been observed to "hunt".
Hunting consists of Creepers waiting patiently for someone to walk past them. When they sense the person, they will release a pheromone with the scent of cooking meat. This smell often attracts travelers, and makes them enter the creatures through the "doorways", that immediately close and trap the person inside upon entering. Once the person is trapped inside a Creeper, the Creeper proceeds to move on and travel to unknown places with the person trapped inside. A person can rarely escape the inside of a Creeper, the interior skin is as strong as flexible as rubber and strong as steel and can only be cut with a blade of enchanted metal.
When a Creeper traps a person inside it, the person is forced to remain in the Creeper indefinitely. For how long depends. A person can be trapped inside a Creeper for years or even decades, but will not die of hunger or old-age as it seems that the inside of a Creeper is a timeless void, a pocket-dimension. A person could be trapped inside a Creeper for years, but still be the same age they were if they come out.
It is unknown why Creepers desire to carry around people inside them; although there are assumptions that Creepers desire "pilots" to be their companions, and are thus looking for "compatible" people. People who are not compatible are immediately dispersed, vomited out unharmed like rotten food in one sickening belch. Not all non-compatible people are released quickly; a person who is not compatible may be stuck inside a Creeper for months before it finally decides to let them go.
It is unknown what happens to a person when they have been stuck in a Creeper for a very long period of time, although some speculate that a compatible person inside a Creeper will eventually "merge" with the Creeper and become "one" with the creature, possibly becoming one unified mind and body in the process. This may be the Creepers' ultimate objective, as without "pilots" they are generally useless.

Geographic Origin and Distribution
The Lavalands. A few can be found in Abra.
Perception and Sensory Capabilities
Creepers have no eyes, instead relying on smell and light-patterns to navigate their environment. This is why they stop moving at night, when no light is visible.
