War of the Fae

Created by

War of the Fae is set in a fantasy world that runs parallel to the human world, and is heavily influenced by the human world. It is the conglomeration of the entire world's dreams of another world, and because of this, it is extremely vast. It can be easily split up into four different realms, the Seelie, the Unseelie, the Undecided (name in the works still), and the Forgotten. The Seelie realm is lush with all sorts of greenery, and is a very dark and sultry place. The Seelie are a vibrant culture, and prefer rich colors and golds. It is ruled by King Oberon, and his court's society is very heavily influenced by Hindu culture. The Unseelie Realm is a vast, cold wasteland covered with ice and snow. The occasional tree that is there is often nothing but bone. It is a bleak, desolate place that is almost completely devoid of color. The Unseelie are a cold, unforgiving culture, and prefer almost-white colors and silvers. It is ruled by Queen Mab, and her court's society is heavily influenced by English culture. The Undecided is the vast land that lays in the middle of the Seelie and Unseelie courts, and has no real central government. It is a relatively wild place, filled with all sorts of terrains and climates, all of which seem to coexist happily. The seasons of the Undecided are more likely to change than the Seelie and Unseelie seasons (which are eternally fixed), and tend to go with the seasons of the earth, though much more mildly than that of the actual earth. The Undecided is home to a variety of different clans, tribes, and societies, all of which have intricate, complicated relationships and backstories. This land serves as a buffer between the hostile Seelie and Unseelie courts, who vehemently hate one another. The Forgotten is a small island off of the coast of the Faerie continent (to be renamed...), where faeries who have long been ignored go to die. It is ruled by the oldest forgotten faerie (to be decided tbh), and has a very loose governmental structure.
