Void Tiefling

Void Tieflings are a subrace of Tiefling. It is believed due to Erithor's Pit, some races have begun to mutate and overtime, new subraces have been born. Void tieflings are said to be born from the mutating effects of the pit either through direct contact or mutated blood passed down from an ancestor. These type of tieflings are extremely rare and only a handful of cases have been documented by the Archives.

Basic Information

Anatomy

Void tieflings resemble normal tieflings in many ways. The most common features are horns, non-prehensile tails, and pointed teeth from the tieflings. While Void tieflings tend to have extra eyes or limbs and extremely dark or nebulous skin. It's not been uncommon for them to even have tentacle-like appendages instead of tails or other limbs.

Genetics and Reproduction

A full blood void tiefling in unable to reproduce normally and typically requires magical interventions. The void itself seems to have rendered this race infertile.

Growth Rate & Stages

Void tieflings have a short life span, shorter than that of humans. Typically, they live to be around 50-60 years, but they can have shorter life spans than even that.

Perception and Sensory Capabilities

Void tieflings have superior darkvision that is said to pierce even the veil of invisibility spells.
