First Xenostromatolites

Around 2.6 billion years ago, ancient cyanostrongylum began organizing into small mushroom-like structures resembling stromatolites of Earth. This group of cyanostrongylum, called xenostromatolites, take advantage of added height to photosynthesize to a greater degree - resulting in faster oxygenation of the atmosphere.
