Below the Northern Desert is remnants of ancient human civilisation whose capability exceeded way beyond the current talents of the current era. Their civilisation spread far too quickly and with no concern of the strain to the environment, they eventually deprived the lands of all life, leaving to the down fall of humanity as their beloved lands turn barren, in no way shape of form to support any life.
