Personal history
Now an orphan, she struggled to survive day by day, in her early teens she was abducted by 3 men who were going to rape and then kill her but not before the protagonist saved her, there after she pledged to become strong and stand side by side with her saviour, eventually becoming an infamous assassin. She became the Heiress of the Phoenix during a mission to assassinate a noble, an ornithologist with a collection of talons and feathers of rare avians, after killing him she saw a crimson talon which she thought looked really beautiful and took it, when she grabbed it, it sliced her palm and she dropped it, surprised by how sharp it was - she didn’t realise that when it fell it turned into ash and embers and disappeared, she heard soldiers coming and looked down, not seeing it anywhere and with not enough time to look she made her escape.
The noble’s family hired a Blood Warlock to track her down, using a drop of blood that fell from where she was cut by the talon and eventually tracked her down to a village of volcano worshipers after a few years, not being bothered with taking her out himself, he told the villagers of her seducing other women in the village despite being a woman herself, ambushed by the villages and captured due to her being less on guard as she had never been to this village and thought she could have a couple days rest and so let her guard down, she was claimed as a siren and taken to the volcano as a sacrifice to reduce its angry the villagers believed that the volcano would erupt because it was angry so they ‘pleased’ it, every year they would have a sacrifice ceremony and sacrifice the one deemed the ‘Holy Maiden’, but would also offer it ‘snacks’ for those that the village called criminals.
As she plummeted towards the molten lava within the volcano she felt despair and just closed her eyes waiting for her coming death, but when her body touched the burning magma, the creeping power within ignites and she undergoes a nirvana her flesh melts but regrows, more mellow but twice as strong, her strength triples and she becomes the new Flame Warden and gains the ability, Phoenix Ascension, when her body adapts to function no different than a True Phoenix. She flies out of the volcano, where the villages believe that the volcano had submitted to this woman, and started worshipping her as some kind of ‘Fire Goddess’, as she has crimson hair, burning flaming wings and fiery eyes.
With new control over fire, she sensed a heat signature fleeing the area and chased him, and ‘melted’ the Blood Warlock as he screamed in terror and dread. She took the Holy Maiden with her and founded the Vestals at the Atrium Vestae, the remnants of the Shrine of Chastity. She then captures up to the protagonist and joins his party.
