Castle Izuria
In the north reach on the island of Ordrash. One can find solace in the wizardly home of Castle Izuria. Home to around 6,000 citizens the castle walls are tall protective structures against the elements of the Opris Sea. The streets densly populated with homes, guildhalls, and 4 mighty towers that stand high above the masses where the crafty keeper mages who protect the city make deals to ensure the security of the Xanadian Magistarium.
The surroundings of the castle are mostly barren and in the distance folks can view the beautiful natural spectacle that is the boundless range.
The Keeper Mages do their best to ensure that trade is amiccable for all. But the four old mages are often distracted by antiquities and reliqueries of great arcane renowned that they have captured from Dim L'Durr's vault.
Representatives of Vornish guilds also have some stake in Izuria ensuring that the livelihood of their workers and citizens is well kept. The prominent three guilds are
The Shipwright's Guild: A group of charming and tough privateers that help move cargo via ships all across Vorn
Passage Protectors: An order monks and druids comprised mostly Water Enyarros that serve as local protectors for the high river that cuts through Ordrash.
Cartographer's Guild: Map makers and scientists that help locals navigate their surroundings and find safe passage off the island. A small group of these cartographers also dabble in treasure hunting, wherever it may find them!
Purpose / Function
This exciting and walled city is to help support trading companies trying to make it through the northern straights of Opris. Although the city has had a rough history with it's neighbor's to the south end of the island at a smaller and more mysterious castle known as Crow's Call.
Alterations
The walls surrounding the city have been magically imbued from it's base making them thicker to stand against high winds and taller to battle potentially flooding waves that flood past the forest of kindly spirits.
Architecture
The towers stand a wopping 300ft tall. There pointed roofs can be seen from the highest point on Izuria's walls.
Defenses
Several guards man watchposts along the wall should any threat come bounding towards the city. It is rare that such occurences happen although there has been more trouble seemingly spewing from the Boundless Mountains of late.
