Birth of Ardonis

Before the creation of Vorn, many attempts were made to create life. The great creator known by all names but most commonly called Elkulus among Vornians sought to create a race of intelligent beings capable of creating their own powers and learning about the nature of the universe. So they made a race known as The Xivvians. For many years the Xivvians lived as many humans did, trading, learning, loving, hating, and dying. They eventually realized Elkulus had no power over the world they resided in and did not control their lives. So with their world's natural resources, they combined their forms into the ultimate God. Becoming one vengeful identity they began to rip their planet asunder destroying everything in sight, eventually ravaging whole galaxies across the cosmos by consuming the energies within stars. Their power and need for violence were only growing. Elkulus witnessed this destruction firsthand and saw only one way to quell the violence of the Xivvian God. They created a God of their own, the last Xivvian known as Ardonis The Great Creator. Ardonis was a silent protector and sought no ill upon the siblings who had become the Abomination God. With the power granted to him by Elkulus, Ardonis trapped himself and his fellow Xivvians in the great void. Falling for infinite millenniums Elkulus was able to find Ardonis and the Xivvians through the folds of space and instead of destroying their forms, created a world where their void would become the center of life for all Vornians.

Manifestation

Ardonis was one of the most powerful Xivvians the universe had ever seen and his strength in creating a black hole was a power that had been lost to the ages. The sheer force of will required to summon the whirling negative space that would become the center of life in the galaxy is pure myth yet it was witnessed. From Elkulus' view, they witnessed the Abomination God and Great Creator embrace before Ardonis held his hand aloft sucking in matter from all sides into the infinite depths of darkness. A moment later the Xivvian Gods were sucked in and the power of the black hole grew in strength sucking in stars, moons, novas, and anything nearby. Elkulus quelled the magic of the black hole but did not displace it. Instead, they made the black hole a maze of darkness to which the Xivvians would wander till the end of days. They laid the maze in stone, iron, and metal crafting a world around the Xivvians ensuring that what once was could never be again.

Localization

The void is less of a potent source of magic than it used to be and now stands as the core for the world of Vorn. It is nearly coverd on all sides thanks to Elkulus' conjurative crafting. However rumours speculate that deep in the Temple Desert buried beneath a mountain is an entrance to the center of the Xivvian domain and all it's many secrets of godhood.
