One day, a man of blinding brilliance, his form shimmering like molten gold, seized the boy and dragged him to the celestial body from which he was born. Without hesitation, he cast the boy into the inferno, a baptism of flame meant to obliterate him from existence and the prying eyes of the divine. But the sun did not destroy him. It scorched and reshaped him, branding its essence into every fiber of his being.


From the blazing heart of the sun, he fell, plummeting through the heavens until his seared form met the harsh air of nothingness and earth devoid of life. As his gaze turned upward, he saw her—cold as the winter, eyes like moon’s edge. Her form, too, was fractured, barely held together by a strings of magic.
