Moonwater Farm

The Moonwater farm is a small family-run wheat farm. The entirety of Matakan City's wheat, grain, and flour is produced by the farm. They have many large fields all growing wheat as well as a grain mill to produce flour.

Government

The eldest family member under the age of 60 runs the farm. This is to ensure that those with the highest experience and still have the ability to work the farm themselves has everything under controll.

Defences

The stone walls are tall enough to keep out the beasts that roam the grasslands. The farm is also close enough to Matakan City for the city guard to patrol the area.

Industry & Trade

The wheat, grain, and flour are sent into the city. The city distributes the materials throughout the various bakeries and woodworkers in the city, as well as arrange for them to be traded to other cities and countries. The farm gets a kickback from the exports, and the city compensated the farm for the products they provide the city.

Infrastructure

The main farmhouse is a small wooden building in which the family lives. This is also where the few work animals they keep are housed.  Other than the vast wheat fields and stone walls separating the farmland, the only other infrastructure is a grain mill. The harvested wheat is refined into grain and flour in the mill, ready for making bread.

Geography

The large grassy plain the farm is built on is ideal for farming. There are twelve different fields growing wheat. Each field is planted searately, allowing for one harvest every month.

Natural Resources

The wheat harvested from the fields is all the family has to make their money. Through many generations, the family has become extremely skilled in their profession. The different fields all grow in different stages, allowing for a new haul every month, keeping the flow of product.
