Purpose / Function
Hakose's purpose is to teach children and make them strong, successful magicians. Hakose has the best reputation in the magical society due to being the school the Great Mage Alexander attended before becoming a magician. Alexander occasionally goes to Hakose to visit students and teach them things he's learned. He also visits the school to talk to the professors about his most recent finds and studies.
History
Hakose academy was originally a place where magicians could train and conduct research. Hakose was turned into a school after a terrible scientific accident. After the accident, the Board of Magic decided that the building wasn't safe enough for advanced magic research, and made it a school. The school is the most funded faulty created by the board of magic. The students are well feed, well-rested, and taught well. The teachers and staff at the school make tons of money yearly, and it's a blessing to work there.
