Griffith

Griffith's true identity is unknown. It is a falsehood given in place of a true identity, and yet there is nothing untrue about it. Griffith is a member of the shadowy organisation known as Deep Choir. Whether Griffith is one person or many is uncertain, but what is certain is that many individual agents under, or perhaps alongside, Griffith assume this name whilst operating. They are a master manipulator, often revealing themselves to people from a wide spectrum of social and political influence during times of duress in order to propose some form of deal. What exactly Griffith gets out of these deals is often unclear, they are seemingly inconsequential or random acts that serve no greater purpose. These people who are contacted by Griffith may deliver a package, a message, submit a certain sum of money into a bank, leave an item in an obscure location, or perform some other specific task for Griffith who in turn resolves an issue the person cannot handle themselves. One such example was Ivar Torfin, son of Lord Logan Torfin of Solvy. Upon his father's death and the destruction of his father's manor at the hands of the woadyani, an elderly woman introducing herself as Griffith appeared to offer a helping hand to the stranded noble. Ivar Torfin was noticed to be missing two days later with no trace as to where he has gone.   As Griffith's motivations are unknown, their methods are the only measure of their overall morality. The various operatives claiming to be Griffith in the few documented sightings available have been non-hostile, going so far as to adopt complex aliases in order to blend in. Such meetings often happen in isolated locations, areas that would be difficult to spy on, or otherwise places where other people are not liable to listen or care about a conversation such as a busy market. Despite this, Griffith utilises valuable information and their target's own peril as leverage against them. This usually is in the form of an agreement that the target themselves has very little understanding of. This in turn has led to speculation as to who exactly handles these issues - Griffith, a co-conspirator, or another hapless target that has been levered into doing the bidding of the greater entity.
