Virtality

In the future, humanity spends most of its life inside Virtality (a blend of "virtual" and "vitality"), a virtual reality entertainment platform created by the company Visionary Imaging. Thanks to its widespread implementation in society, the lines between virtual and actual living have begun to blur with people posessing jobs and even long-term romances in the online world.   But within the code of the virtual multiverse, issues are starting to develop. The core matrices of Virtality are showing signs of damage - and possibly sabotage. Glitches in Virtality's programming have always existed, but now they are increasing in severity and number, endangering human lives. Experts at the Virtality Police Department suspect a rogue master hacker is triggering them. The VPD calls on a disgraced hacker to work with their best detective in tracking down the potential terrorist before lives are lost. But in a world of virtual make-believe, things, and people, are hardly ever what they seem...
