Island Fortress of an Ancient Red Dragon

Currently a pall of ash hangs over the island, obscuring the sun as men proceed closer to the northern tip of the isle, where the lair resides.

Mountainous and Rocky, with little in the way of arable land
Its spine drops deep into the ocean, and it is a harsh and unforgiving island

Fauna & Flora

Little lives on the island itself, chased off by the presence of a dragon
What does live there has come from the elemental plane of Fire, such as the Fire Giants who inhabit the upper village

Natural Resources

Its wealth is in the forges burning hot
When the forges are lit and the giants working, the subtle light of the volcanic operation can be seen far into the distance
