Adamantine
This exceptionally strong material is a powerful natural enchanting material. On top of being both an exceptionally hard, if somewhat brittle metal of a dull silvery lutsre, it holds onto and reinforces enchantments over its lifespan.
Commonly it undergoes blackening, a process by which is forged in active volcanoes and takes on some of the strength of the earth. This also has the effect of turning the metal a darker colour, losing its lustre in place of a black sooty appearance.
