At some point the ice appeared, it just did. It towers into the heavens. Surrounding the people, keeping us in check inside our own isolated environments. The ice never grows, nor does it decrease, it incircles instead. It incircles the grassy fields and the boiling deserts, leaving the oblivious inhabitants trapped. Only few having the possibility of travel.
