Introduction

Welcome, stranger. This is the world of Vilirn - a place for cunning aspirations, dark schemes and cold, harsh nature. The setting is low fantasy, which makes it just fantastic enough to allow for unexpected developments to take place, but harsh enough to make you want to turn your eyes away from it. It's a place of hearty little villages, enormous, busy market towns and threads after threads of challenging adventures to experience. Cold-bloodedness, unimaginable pain and stoic determination govern the hearts of the people as they partake in the journey through the wild, chaotic ancient times to the Steam Age - the age of hard science and strange apparatus. Will the world prosper in the end? Will it carry people safely through its countless hardships? Or will it be devoured by the endless greed and shameless plotting?

A Word from the Team

This knowledge base is a work in progress. We are doing our best to keep it up-to-date, but life takes precedence. English isn't our native language, but we thought it best to be practical and do it in English straight from the beginning, so as to not depend on us translating it later should the need arise. This is a hobby project developed by a 3-man team, made possible by long weekend nights and cases of good (read: cheap) beer.
