Vigil Universe

Around Six Weeks ago, people were imbued with abilities that allow them to greatly transcend normal limitations. These individuals share no common background, however they have decided to become Heroes and fight against crime and injustice. Whilst powerful, these heroes are inexperienced and must contend with their own lives and struggles. Some call them deillusional, whilst others idolize them.   However, shadowy forces are moving, consolidating their power in order to make a claim against this new world, Myths and Legends arise from the fog of history into a modern world. Tyrannical God Kings, Demons from the Depths of Hell, Mad Scientists and Experiments gone wrong all will be facing the heroes.   When the shock of Super-humans subsides and become a normal part of every day society, their numbers grow since the initial incident, It falls onto society on how deal with this new phenomena.   To this end, the US Government has decided to start an initiative to bring together Earth's mightiest heroes, to this end, PROJECT VIGIL.
