Astral Plane

This is a realm of thought and dream. Creatures on this plane don't age or suffer from hunger or thirst. Movement is purely an act of will; merely thinking of a direction will send you drifting towards your destination. As such, the plane is mostly inhabited by highly intelligent creatures. This is not a peaceable place as some inhabitants are violent and voracious hunters, seeking to devour the disembodied souls of travelers through the plane.

Geography

The silvery Astral Sea is mostly a vast, empty expanse with swirling wisps of white and grey streaking among motes of light. Dotted by magical pools of colored light that flicker like radiant, spinning coins. Drifting chunks of rock or the occasional petrified corpse of dead, god like beings. The Psychic Wind is a natural phenomenon upon the plane that is a large storm of dark thoughts that beat against the minds of those caught in it.
