Wildsage Apothecary and Clinic

Wildsage Apothecary and Clinic is the local medicinal dispensary and clinic for the citizens of Veteris. The apothecary uses natural herbs, roots, and berries found in Silva and crushed together to form medicinal concoctions for various illnesses. The most popular medicine that are bought in this apothecary is the antidote for the venom that the insects may inflict in Silva and the crushed ginseng root for the paralysis that the insects or creatures may inflict in Silva. Wildsage Apothecary and Clinic also sells other different types of natural medication. Wildsage Apothecary also has medication that originate from the Aragon River. One can see the venom of the giant diving spider and the algae from the river in a vial or bottle over the counters of the apothecary. The Wildsage Apothecary and Clinic is unique to other apothecaries in the area. The apothecary also acts as a clinic. People with diseases and illness go to the apothecary to be diagnosed by the doctor. The wife of the doctor, who is incredibly knowledgeable in nature and what it brings to the table, creates the medication from the apothecary shop and treats the patient. Wildsage Apothecary and Clinic is well-renowned and many people come from different villages to be diagnosed and treated. The couple hires laborers to scavenge for ingredients in Silva when the couple needs to restock their supplies. The shop has a very earthy smell to it, but this is because of the wild ingredients harvested from Silva.

Purpose / Function

The building was originally built for the elder and children who were ill and needed treatment as soon as possible. Eventually, when the doctor and his wife took over the building, they renamed it to Wildsage Apothecary and renovated the building to also sell medicine. They also accepted everyone of all ages as they firmly believe that everyone deserves to be helped.

Architecture

The building is built using the thick trunks of the Silvan trees. The building is divided into two sections, one for the apothecary shop and the other for the clinic. The apothecary is a lot smaller, while the clinic can house roughly 10 adult patients. The building is shaped like an "L." The clinic is in the back of the apothecary.
