Maxwell "Max" Ryder, was born and raised in the town of Veteris. He is a kind and gentle soul who is always willing to help those in needs. He is a bigger man with the strength to match his appearance. He has a longer sideburns that he is secretly a little bit proud of. Max also comes from a long line of lumberjacks and carpenters. They will sell lumber from Silva and keep some of it to provide for a small shop located in the market.
From an early age he always sticks up for those who were weaker than him, he always felt the need to do it because if his strength, however it had often led to him getting into some trouble. When he reached his teenage years he had planned to join the military and eventually move to the capital Novus. However when he was seventeen right before he was planning on doing so his father had gotten sick and passed away, leaving the family business to him. He decided to scrap going to the military and do what was right for his family, a decision he didn’t regret in the end as he eventually fell in love with a elven woman named Julia who would eventually become his wife. A love story that started pretty rocky considering lumberjack’s discourse with the elves over the Aeris trees. However the two of them worked past that opting for a happy compromise in his line of work, every tree he chops, he helps her regrow a new one in its place. The two of them live happily together with two dogs.
