Vetaton

Once an idyllic, untroubled world where the forces that intertwine with life existed in harmonious equilibrium. The face of Vetaton has since seen apocalyptic cataclysm. With the recent death of Yurik, The Grand Dragon, there remains no one powerful enough to keep the forces of magic in check. When The Grand Dragon fell, the entity that slew him left as swiftly as he had come. A towering knight donning ebony hued armour and wielding a huge sword with roguish speed. The wizards and Yurik himself detected magical presence and perhaps the interference of something much darker upon the spirit of this cruel soul. Since Yurik's death the wizards of Dragonspire have worked tirelessly to weave wards and beacons to control and store the wild magic The Grand Dragon controlled since his creation. Unbeknownst to the people, the world now faces an uncertain future where the slightest disturbance could send the energies of Vetaton into chaos.
