Valazraad

For the blatant usage of necromancy and the despotic arts, I declare valazraad upon Syr Makan. The armies of the Vodranti Legions and her people are against you, Makan. Pray fervently for your life.   Maht Yusur, Kenyr of the 9th Legion (4043 AV)
Valazraad is the Xxayu word for treason, and the one who performs it. A valazraad denotes an act or a person who betrays the purposes of Libratias, the Legions, or the Empress.    The word originally denoted one who went against the will of the Erlkin, the ancient leaders of the Vodranti during the Age of Foundings.   Notably, a variant of Valazraad in 'God-tense' would denote one who specifically betrays God/the Ar+++++. Although, Valazraad is used to encompass betrayal to any aspect of Vodranti culture, so saying it is specifically betrayal against God is more of an elaboration than an actual declaration.   In addition, object-tense can mean someone has either failed their purpose in the operation of a machine, or the machine has failed in its operation to the Vodranti. Either or, rarely used, since Valazraad is normally for something far more serious. So Valazradashan (a treasonous machine) is mostly used for intense cussing.
