The Pinnacle of Human Flesh, The Arbiter of Evolution (a.k.a. Mother of Mothers, the Gnosticat, the Sinless Machine)
The Grail itself is a massive organic AI. Composed of the cerebral mass of thousands of individuals assisted by a machine proto-intelligence, the Grail has become, supposedly, sapient.
The Sinless Machine can finally rest. Her work is over. There are no more worlds to conquer. And her perfect vessels, her children of flesh, die. The Gnosticat have nowhere to turn to. God has seen fit to end their existence. So be it.
