Gas Barons

The Gas Barons are a loose collective of gas harvesting stations and the lords that operate them. Insulated within the protective aura of the massive gas giants, they are perhaps the closest remnant of "true humanity", given that they were relatively unaffected by the Epoch, genetic modification, and time. Some Barons still claim fealty to organizations such as the MEU or the ADI, despite the fact those coalitions have not existed for millennia.
