Etimasia

"Etimasia", which loosely translates to "prepared place/separated (holy) ground", is a common image or vexilloid found in Vodranti art and literature, a symbolic representation of the future rule of Christ, the "Ibaddic Domain" prophesized in several religious texts. Often found in the center of a roundel, the circular image that often appears in Vodranti religious imagery.   The Etimasia is usually a metaphor for the divine right of rulers to govern so that they may prepare a place for Christ to rule from, to set in place the government that will be a stone among the foundation for the direct rule of God. While in the age of the Clans, this divine rule extended to all Gesala of their clans, the Empress claims that the place is hers to prepare, that she possesses "Dominion" to create a single unified Vodranti government (dubbed the "Syncretic Body"). Etimasia is sometimes used by loyalists to the Empress as a term for the throne of the Empress, the Yauu, directly referring to her spiritual/ritual power.   The Etimasia is permitted by Anicons, as it lacks the presence of a "spiritual figure", although several Iconoclast extremists have demolished particularly gaudy throne "idols" found in the Kirkja of the Prophet Ukarr, which is now a hotbed for Aniconic activity, only permitted by the Empress in an attempt to control, concentrate, and regulate the Anicon radicals.
