Carovatt

The blind Ossuarat slowly extended shaking hands towards the kenyr. The Vodrant recoiled slightly, but became still as she laid a hand upon the face of the commander, running it along Dakai's cheek before speaking in her withered voice. "Ah-h-h-h...you bear the bones of kings, the astral blood of the Olkin from so long ago. Your height belies your ancestry, quite." The last sentence was quite rude to say to one of her rank, but Dakai dared not correct her.

Carovatt is the name given by Zacharites towards the original Vodranti, those who followed the Olkin of Ceres. While 'true' Carovatt are either dead or cryogenically preserved, their genetic vestiges still occasionally manifest in Vodranti, particularly Gesala or otherwise those of astral blood that had not been too affected by environments alien to the starborne tribes. Being even paler than Tx̼x̼al, they bear fairly grey skin with tinges of pink.  Notably, Carovatt were tall, distinctly so. An adult Carovatt less than 6'2" was considered short.
