Raven's Eye
The remote village of Raven's Eye is rarely visited by outsiders. Strong illusions conceal its location so that passers-by find themselves turned away and disoriented -- unless they're beastfolk, shifters, or lycanthropes. In that case, they see the village for what it is, and they are welcomed by its residents as a long-lost family member.
This is because Raven's Eye was founded by and for those who have some sort of beastly nature to them. Located on a little island in the middle of Raven's Eye Lake within the Frostpines, this village is a haven for anyone whose animalistic features or monthly shape-shifting make it hard for them to fit in anywhere else. No evil beings can live here, because the island is protected by a powerful archfey known as Theron, the "King of Beasts". His number-one rule is that none of her people may shed blood, not from each other or from any guests who might visit the village. (Outsiders with no animalistic blood may enter if a resident vouches for them.) Raven's Eye is a place of peace, and he will keep it that way.

Demographics
Raven's Eye is home to a variety of lycanthropes and beastfolk, particularly those who are less accepted by civilization. This includes werebeasts (wolf, bear, rat, and tiger), shifters, gnolls, lizardfolk, chromatic half-dragons, kenku, and minotaurs. But there are also many residents who could just as easily live elsewhere, such as centaurs. They simply enjoy the quiet isolation of the island.
History
Raven's Eye has existed for at least a century, but even its oldest residents are not quite sure how long it's been here. Very few outsiders are aware of its existence because of the fey magic that protects it.
