Verta

Verta was not the first world, and it shall not be the last.   The universe is not a constant. Sometimes one exists, and sometimes one does not. The Spirit Realm, however, is - it has existed since the dawn of time, and will continue doing so forever. And every so often, the magical fluctuations of the Spirit Realm create Great Powers, and those Great Powers create a universe. Two, in fact - one for the mortal races, one for the celestial angels.   Verta - and its paired celestial world Aead - are the latest in the cycle. On Verta, four continents exist, numerous races and far more nations spread out among them. On Aead, though angels once reigned, they are now almost extinct, replaced by the demons created by the fall to evil of one of the Great Powers.   It is a world of sword and magic, beasts and intelligent races. It is a world full of cruelty, monsters and war - yet it is a world full, too, of heroism, kindness and peace. It is a world where all people have a choice - whether that is for the better or the worse.   This is Verta.
