Heart of Galaith

The Heart of Galaith is the flagship of the Kingdom of Fyfeldor's sizable navy, being the largest ship ever constructed in Verrin. It is named for the ancient Dragonslayer, Fiach An Galaith.
It was first built during the reign of Lethstan the Seafarer, who increased the size of the Kingdom's navy considerably due to advances in Giants' naval activity in Faega's Sea. Revolutionary for its time, the Heart of Galaith has three main sails and carries a contingent of soldiers. It also has a large ballista mounted on its foredeck, allowing it to fire upon hostile ships. Primarily, however, naval actions will be fought by chasing down an enemy ship and lashing the two vessels together.
