The Silver trade in town is the main source of income for the town.  The metalworkers have formed various guilds, each specializing in certain types of metal working, the largest of which is the Silversmiths Guild.  The use of silver and its varous applications is explored and experimented with extensively in Krider Springs. The medical uses for Silver are especially revered for their effectiveness. Many healers and alchemists use silver in their reagents.  In addition silver alchemists have developed an alchemical process called Silver Paintings (silver type photography) where in a silver gelatin is used to create the photographs.
