Farms

Located outside the protective walls of Verdan, the farms make up the bulk of Verdan's efforts. All sorts of crops, livestock and other agricultural goods can be found on the farm. Bristling with the hard work and the collective knowledge of Verdan's citizens, the farms of Verdan rival those of settlements and cities twice its size. From dawn to dusk farmers can be seen tending to their assigned farm plots with guards nearby ensuring their safety from any threats.

Purpose / Function

To provide food for the people of Verdan as well as goods to trade with Hillshur.

Architecture

The farms are broken into several plots that are worked on by the farmers assigned to them. Each plot is fenced off and given a designation to better identify which plot is which to help the church identify any problems with goods production. Closest to The Gate lies a stretch of land for the sole purpose of housing the different livestock.
