Culture and Cultural Heritage

During the early years of the Magic Council, Angels were widely hated for their treatment of the other races. As the centuries went by and the direct victims of the Angels died out, these beings came to be thought of as extinct by the common populace. Grand Wizard Emmanuel, the Guardian of Peace was thought to be the last Angel.

History

In the year 9800 of the First Era, an Angel named Tobias fell in love with a Mermaid. Wanting her to be by his side, he convinced his Angel brethren to create the Sky Ocean, so that he and his love could live together.
In the Year 2000 of the Sky Ocean Era, the flying island Milagrosa crashed onto one of the Sky Ocean towers, destabilizing the Sky Ocean and bringing it down to the world, causing a global flood.
In the year 601 of the Flooded Era, the Angels finally banished the last of the Sky Ocean waters. A terrible plague afflicted the other races, thus the Angels brought it upon themselves to be Ventus' protectors. Thus began the age of Angels.
