Ismark Kolyanovich
Ismark the Lesser
History
Ismark 'The Lesser' Kolyanovich was the son of the burgomaster of the Village of Barovia. He had spent most of his adult life training with weapons in order to one day kill Strahd von Zarovich. When he discovered that the vampire had been making nightly visits to his sister Ireena and that he also likely poisoned Ismark's father, actions were needed to be taken. When adventurers made their way to the village he did his best to make a good impression and request their help in protecting his sister. The group wanted to leave with her then but Ismark requested that they wait until their father was buried. During the funeral, Strahd's loyal advisor, Rahadin made an appearance and sent wolves to kill the party. Unfortunately for Ismark, the wolves grabbed him and dragged him into the woods where he was ultimately killed.
Alternate Barovia
Ismark was similar to his previous incarnation. He was able to survive the funeral of his father this time around but decided that the village needed a leader at this time. He entrusted his sister to the adventurers and remained in the village where he became the next burgomaster. He did his best to rule over his small village and was overjoyed and the adventurers proved victorious over Strahd.
