Doru Donavich
History
Doru Donavich was born to Father Donavich in the Village of Barovia. When he was sixteen years old he was wandering through the woods and was attacked by a vampire stalking within. He became a vampire spawn as a result and his father, instead of killing him, locked him away in the basement of his church. Left without food for over a year, when adventures found him, Doru was an insane husk of his former self. He would be killed by Arkelo Raius after trying to attack them for their blood.
Alternate Barovia
In the Alternate Barovia, Doru was actually fed by his father which allowed him to have a more civilized conversation with the adventurers that arrived. He understood his situation and the state that left his father in and so tried to escape his confinement. He made it as far as the wooded outskirts of the town before Nephi tracked him down and ended his life.
