Bergkin

The Mountain People

More than 400 years ago,

the Bergkin predicted a great disaster that would wipe them out, so they dug out cities in the southern mountains. Sure enough, the disaster struck, destroying the surface world while the Bergkin hid in their stone cities. Throughout their time in these caverns, they spent their time expanding their bunkers, forging mining gear, and doing increasingly intricate stonework.
