Galtea

Galtea is a nation that was once part of a larger nation called Vitralan, after a long lasting civil war Vitralan split into 4 separate countries, Galtea, The Republic of Isos, Al’dania, and New Vitralan.
Galtea was founded following the defeat of various reigonal warlords during the Galtean founding war. In the aftermath of the war the first king of Galtea consolidated power in the capital city under his generals and following his death, rule fell to the council of generals and has remained ever since.

Structure

The Kingdom of Galtea is organized in a standard Feudal System in which the king of Galtea dictates his rule upon Nobles and the nobles use Knights to enforce their rules upon the peasants.

To sustain the Kingdom of Galtea and repel all foreign invaders.

History

Galtean History Galtea was foundee following the defeat of various reigonal warlords during the Galtean founding war. In the aftermath of the war the first king of Galtea consolidated power in the capital city under his generals and following his death, rule fell to the council of generals and has remained ever since.
The city of Galtea itself was not chosen to be the capital for it's size but rather it's location. It's position on the far reaches of the continent and the frontier protecting approach from the west protected the city from the brunt of the fighting during the Galtean founding war. The capital is not only the oldest surviving city in the reigon, but one of the few actual surviving ones. Further east the ruins of several former cities lay abandoned. The kingdom of Galtea was in fact named after the city and not the other way around.
Despite the first king of Galtea's great military success. He ultimately failed to unite all the warlords in the reigon. A handfull of city states similar to Galtea consolidated in the east following the founding war and are a constant source of wariness for the leaders of Galtea.

Galtea has a large contingent of Humans and they look down upon Orcs, Half Orcs and Elves.

Agriculture & Industry

Galteas industry is based solely upon agriculture and their continued land based military supremacy.
