Tamara Zukova

Tamara Zukova is one of Lord Stanislav Volkov's court sages. With the Karadzic Civil War, Tamara was placed in charge of a small army aimed at securing the southern Heartlands for the Patriot cause, and expelling the region's Solarians.

History

A talented Evocation and Abjuration Adept who came from the slums of New Severgrad, Tamara quickly rose up the ranks of the College. Rumors abounded that she was being groomed to succeed Titus Kluich as Master Evoker. However, her dislike of the College's politics and insistence on keeping their knowledge to themselves caused her to frequently come into conflict with the Masters.
In the opening days of the War of Three Thrones, Tamara attempted to convince the Masters to intervene in the Siege of New Severgrad. When her attempts failed, she led a band of twenty mages whose families were trapped in the siege into battle. After returning to the College Tamara was briefly stripped of her rank, but at the insistence of Nipelka Karadzic her status was reinstated and she was quickly sent to serve Lord Stanislav Volkov as court sage.

Recent Events

The party encountered Tamara during their recovery in Miyagorsk, which had recently been razed and subject to massacre by Tamara's forces. Tamara accused the party members of treason after her men found their bodies as well as food supplies and gold destined for the College, which was being put to siege by the Patriots. In order for them to clear their names, she had the party attack a band of Solarian warriors-of-faith that were threatening her patrols.
The party later discovered that Tamara was closely working alongside Makar, teaching him magic and carrying on an intimate relationship with the mercenary captain as the two shared similar views on the future of Gränsland and a similar philosophy of rule by the strong.
